The study tour of the "Hongzhi Navigation Program Funded by the Central Special Public Welfare Lottery for National College Graduates Employment Competency Training" of Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University visited MANLEE Technology. Teachers and students toured the intelligent production line of PET eco-friendly plastic boxes, observing the full manufacturing workflow of transparent boxes for food, cosmetics, trendy toys and oral care products, from raw material extrusion, printing, die-cutting to box folding and forming.
During the visit, the enterprise’s technical instructor introduced the production essentials of PET right-angle boxes, lock-bottom cylinder boxes and high-transparent folding boxes. The core advantages including high transparency, no whitening at bending points and excellent folding resistance were demonstrated. These products meet food-contact standards and have passed international certifications such as SGS and ROHS, serving fast-fashion brands worldwide. Students watched thermoforming, cutting and quality control processes, learning how packaging industry balances environmental protection, appearance and structural practicality. They examined finished samples and discussed hot topics including export packaging and EUDR compliance, gaining first-hand experience of digital manufacturing strength in packaging sector.
As a key practical session of the "Hongzhi Navigation Program Funded by the Central Special Public Welfare Lottery for National College Graduates Employment Competency Training", this activity builds a bridge for university-enterprise communication. It helps students step out of classrooms and learn about career opportunities in plastic packaging industry, covering packaging design, production technology and foreign trade.
